Who is on the editorial team?

Every article published by Headlines UK is written by a named journalist and reviewed by an editor before it goes live. Our full team profiles are available at /our-team/, but here are the key editorial leads you are most likely to speak with. The Editor-in-Chief, David Harwood, oversees all editorial standards and publication decisions. Managing Editor Rebecca Haines runs the daily newsroom and manages headline review and commissioning. Thomas Whitmore leads our Westminster, council and policy coverage as Politics & Public Affairs Editor. Amelia Grant covers the economy, business and cost-of-living as Business & Economy Correspondent. Sophie Marlowe edits culture, lifestyle and society content. Oliver Reeves heads fact-checking, source verification and corrections as Standards & Fact-Checking Lead.

Where is the registered office?

Headlines UK is owned and operated by Sliema Media Limited, a company registered in Malta under number C 84217. Our registered office is Level 3, Tower Business Centre, Tower Street, Swatar, Birkirkara BKR 4013, Malta. You can reach the main switchboard on +356 2779 4100. For UK editorial matters, the direct line is +44 20 4587 9485. All correspondence relating to legal notices or corporate affairs should be directed to the Malta address.

How do I submit a correction or complaint?

If you believe we have published an error, please email corrections@headlinesuk.uk with the article URL, the nature of the mistake and your source. Our full corrections policy is at /corrections-policy/. For formal complaints about editorial content, conduct or breaches of our standards, please follow the procedure set out at /complaints-procedure/. Oliver Reeves, our Standards & Fact-Checking Lead, oversees both processes and will acknowledge your submission within 48 hours.

How this works in practice

Imagine you have read an article about a local council decision and you believe a figure in the second paragraph is incorrect. You email corrections@headlinesuk.uk with the article URL and your evidence. The message is logged by Oliver Reeves’s team, who cross-check the claim against the original source. If the error is confirmed, the article is corrected, a note is appended and you receive a reply explaining what has changed. If no error is found, you receive a clear explanation of why the original figure was correct. The same process applies whether you are a reader, a source or an organisation mentioned in our reporting.

In short

Headlines UK is committed to transparent, accountable journalism. Use the contact details above to reach the right desk quickly, and expect a prompt, honest reply. Every email matters to us, and we treat every interaction as part of our responsibility to our readers.
